Mark and Siân

Who are we?

Mark

I am an expatriate Australian ( Tasmanian , actually). I came to the UK to do a PhD. at the Cambridge University Chemistry Department, met Siân, got a job, and stayed :).

In my copious free time I play badminton, various computer games, decorate bathrooms (the joys of being a homeowner *sigh*), listen to Mike Oldfield, The Alan Parsons Project, Midnight Oil and Yello (among others), read all sorts of things (my favourite author is Jack Vance), and write software of all kinds, including the addictive-as-hell arcade game XQuest.

I work for Cresset BioMolecular Discovery, a small but up-and-coming molecular modelling software and consulting company. The difference between Cresset and other molecular modelling companies is that our science actually works: we get the right answers!
